Simpsons Inverness Hit £50K Total for Maggies Highlands
Following the return of their festive Ladies Night at the end of November, which raised a massive £10,000 on the night, the local award-winning business has now raised £50,000 for the local charity through this event.
Over 300 guests attended the sell-out ‘Ladies Festive Evening’, at Scotland’s Destination Garden Centre of the Year, where everyone was treated to an evening of music, cocktails, pampering, Christmas shopping and delicious festive food.
Siobhan MacBean, Marketing Manager at Simpsons Garden Centre said: “We’re delighted so many ladies came along to support our 8th Festive Ladies night for Maggies. It’s been sorely missed due to COVID, there was such a brilliant atmosphere on the night with everyone enjoying everything we had on offer.
“We’re unbelievably thankful to our suppliers and the local businesses that supported the event providing welcome drinks to raffle prizes, food and items for our goody bags.
“It’s a busy time of year for everyone, so by having an evening where everyone can relax, have a pamper and enjoy chatting with friends – as well as support such an important local charity – was great way to start the festive season. We’ve really missed having this event which is such a milestone in everyone’s festive calendar.
“The fact we’ve now raised £50,000 from this event is to the vital work done by Maggies Highland, who play such an important role in the local community, and we’re so proud to continue supporting the work they do.”
Maggie’s Highlands Centre Head said: “Many thanks to everyone who supported Maggies Highlands by attending and spending at the Simpsons Ladies Night.
