Donation to Scotland Charity Air Ambulance
Our Mintlaw team had the privilege of visiting Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) at their Aberdeen base in Dyce. As one of our chosen charity partners during the festive period, we were delighted to meet with the incredible team to learn more about their daily life-saving efforts.
SCAA, which relies entirely on public donations to fund its vital service, has recently launched Operation Skyward – an exciting development that will bring a new, larger aircraft to the Aberdeen base later this year. The Airbus H145 D3, will be equipped with the latest Night Vision Imaging System, already successfully in use by Helimed 76 in Perth. These advancements will enable the SCAA crew to save even more lives across Scotland, operating efficiently day and night to reach those in critical need.
With the cost of each emergency callout averaging £4,500, the need for public support has never been greater. Thanks to generous donations, SCAA continues to provide rapid response and life-saving care to communities across the country.
